Advanced Gauging Technologies has received a new purchase order from Allied Tube & Conduit (Division of Atkore) in Harvey, IL. The order is for an AGT 400 Isotope Thickness Gauge that will be used to measure various steel alloys on a 72” Pro-Eco Pickle line. The gauge is slated to ship in two phases; Electronics Cabinet in November 2024 and C-frame in March 2025.
AGT800XT Laser Thickness Gauge Shipped to Ohio Pickling & Processing
Our AGT800XT Laser Thickness Gauge has been shipped to Ohio Pickling & Processing to await startup in the coming months. This will be installed onto their 72″ Wean Pickle Line to measure steel alloys.
Ohio Pickling & Processing will be utilizing the AGT800XT to measure thicker material than other competing thickness gauges are capable of while remaining non-contact, thus leaving wear and tear off the table for both the material and the gauge. When started up, the AGT800XT will provide material benefit to the line operators and managers, reducing downtime and increasing productivity. That’s Measuring Made Easy.
New Two Gauge Order Received from CSI Nucor
Advanced Gauging Technologies has received a new two gauge purchase order from California Steel Industries, Inc. , Fontana, CA. The order is for two AGT400 Isotope Thickness Gauges for use on the #2 CGL Line. The AGT400’s will provide documentation and detailed coil reports which will be integrated into CSI’s plant wide network. That’s #MeasuringMadeEasy.
AGT800 Ships to Feroleto Steel Weirton
A new AGT800 Laser Thickness Gauge was shipped to Feroleto Steel’s Weirton, WV plant on July 19, 2024. The gauge will be located on a 64″ Slitting Line and will be the Weirton plants 2nd AGT800.
A.G.T. Receives New AGT800 Order from Venture Steel de Mexico
Advanced Gauging Technologies has received a new purchase order from Venture Steel de Mexico (Ramos Arizpe) for an AGT 800 Laser Thickness Gauge. The gauge will be installed on a new 62” Athader Slitting Line and will be used to measure various steel alloys. Shipment is scheduled for January, 2025. That’s #MeasuringMadeEasy.
