Nova Steel’s new AGT800 Laser Thickness Gauge, Canada’s first, became operational this week. It has been installed on a refurbished 60” Pro-Eco Slitter at the company’s Stoney Creek, Ontario facility.

Today, a new AGT800 Laser Thickness Gauge was shipped to Delta, Ohio. This system will be for use on a 72” Butech Bliss/ Nelson Steel Pickle Line at Fulton County Processing, and will measure steel with a thickness range from .050” to .500”.

Laser Gauge Goes To Lee Steel
We shipped another AGT800 Laser Gauge today that will be measuring steel with a thickness range of .055”- .375” on a 74” Red Bud EPS pickle line at Lee Steel’s new Romulus, Michigan facility. Lee will now have AGT400 and/or AGT800 thickness gauges at all three of their plant locations.
