National Galvanizing buys another AGT400 thickness gauge

National Galvanizing has bought another AGT400 Thickness Gauge.  This is their third AGT thickness along with another AGT400 and an AGT800.

This AGT400 will be installed on a 72” Pro-Eco pickling line at the entry end where it will measure various steel alloys. Pickling line entry ends are ideal for the AGT400 as the material is usually has a lot of rust and scale. The AGT400 is indifferent to this and will still provide the most accurate thickness reading possible. Just one more way A.G.T. is providing the best thickness gauging systems on the market, and then some.  That’s #MeasuringMadeEasy.

A.G.T. Receives 2nd AGT400 Order from Ohio-Kentucky Steel

Advanced Gauging Technologies has received an order from Ohio-Kentucky Steel in Franklin, OH for their second AGT400. This order follows closely on the heels of their first gauge P.O. which was placed earlier this year.

The new AGT400 will be installed on a 60” Stamco slitting line where it will measure various steel alloys including galvanized steel from 0.023” to 0.150”. Slitting lines are ideal for the AGT400 as in many cases the passline can have quite a bit of variance. The AGT400 is indifferent to this and will still provide the most accurate thickness reading possible.

Even in extremely dirty environments the AGT400 will perform flawlessly because it is impervious to dust, oil mist and other contaminants that may be in that air. Just one more way A.G.T. is providing the best thickness gauging systems on the market, and then some.

AGT400 Startup at Ohio-Kentucky Steel!

Advanced Gauging Technologies has just completed the startup of a brand new AGT400 at Ohio-Kentucky Steel in Franklin, Ohio. This is their first thickness gauge purchase so we are excited to be working with them!

We installed their AGT400 on a 76” Stamco Slitting Line where it is measuring various steel alloys including galvanized steel from 0.20” to 0.125”. Slitting lines are ideal for the AGT400 because even if the passline has quite a bit of variance, the gauge can still provide the most accurate thickness reading it is capable of.

Even if this were an extremely dirty environment the AGT400 would have no problem continuing to perform accurately. It’s impervious to dust, oil mist and any other contaminants that may be in the air. It’s just one more way A.G.T. is providing the best thickness gauging systems on the market to ensure no matter what you do, it’s #MeasuringMadeEasy.
