Advanced Gauging Technologies often works with OEM line manufacturers to implement thickness gauges onto lines before they are installed. Because we work with these manufacturers directly, they are able to design their lines with the perfect location for one of our thickness gauges.
This was just the case with PlatePlus Inc. in Granite City, Illinois. They recently had a brand new 78″ Cut-To-Length line installed from one of our OEM line manufacturing partners. Long before it was ever installed, they knew it would be extremely beneficial to have an AGT800 Laser Thickness Gauge on their line. We worked with the OEM to ensure our gauge could be implemented flawlessly and after completing the startup this week, that was certainly the case.
The AGT800 on this new line will be measuring HRS and HRSPO from 36″ to 78″ and will provide the most accurate non-contact thickness measurement available.
