A.G.T. Ships New AGT800 to Fulton County Processing!

Advanced Gauging Technologies has shipped a new AGT800 to Fulton County Processing in Delta, Ohio. This system will be used on a  72″ Alcos slitting line to measure carbon steel from 0.049 to 0.500″. Fulton County currently operates five A.G.T. gauges they have purchased from us. They are running three AGT400s on various slitting lines and an AGT800 on a Nelson pickle line. The addition of a second AGT800 will continue to ensure they are receiving the most accurate non-contact thickness measurement available.

Celebrating our Vice President’s 20th Anniversary!

Wife of our co-founder, and mother of our President, Coralie Cook officially joined A.G.T. in January of 1999. She is celebrating her 20th anniversary as vice-president and has played a crucial role in helping A.G.T. to become the success that it is today. Over the years our company has changed, innovated and grown immensely thanks to her contributions. We’re so happy Coralie has been with us since the beginning. Spend a few moments with her and you’ll see she is one of the most kind, caring and generous people you’ve ever met. From all of us at A.G.T. we want to say thank you for your years of dedication and hard work, we don’t know where we would be without you!

As the Industry Grows, So Grows A.G.T.

With a strong economy the steel industry has been working diligently to stay ahead of demand and take advantage of this growth. This has led many of A.G.T.’s customers to be busier than they have been in years. With unemployment rates so low, it can be a challenge finding quality employees to meet this demand. However, there are far worse problems to have than too much business.

Following this growth, A.G.T. has been spearheading research and development for new products that will support this growing industry. Tolerance and accuracy requirements are continuing to become more strict and A.G.T. has the products necessary to help companies meet those requirements. We are growing with the industry and and diversifying our products to meet those growing needs. At A.G.T. we remain at the forefront of innovation and are always looking for new and beneficial ways to better serve our customers. So why wouldn’t you buy your gauge from A.G.T.?

Second AGT800 Pipe & Pole Startup at McWane Ductile

Advanced Gauging Technologies has just completed the startup of a new AGT800 Pipe and Pole System at McWane Ductile in Coshocton, Ohio. They produce cast iron pipe and poles up to 16 feet long and this is the second system they have purchased in the last two years. This is a unique application that uses two opposing C-frames to oscillate in and out opposite sides of the pipe being inspected.

Our system, installed after the pipe and pole cast line, will be used to accurately measure wall thickness. A.G.T. understands no two customers are the same, and because of that we have put a focus on being able to provide custom solutions for applications such as this.

A.G.T. Attends Fabtech Atlanta!

This week Advanced Gauging Technologies attended Fabtech in Atlanta, Georgia. This is the largest metal forming, fabricating, welding and finishing event in North America and was held at the Georgia World Congress Center.

Members of our sales and marketing teams went to see all the latest and greatest the industry has to offer as well as connect with our customers that were in attendance to show our support. We also had the opportunity to speak with many of the companies we serve to see what problems they were facing and what struggles they were trying to overcome. We want to continue to serve our customers even after the sale, and by learning more about them we can better understand their needs. We always think meeting face to face is the best way to connect and it was a pleasure speaking with so many companies at the show.
