A.G.T. Completes the Startup of Two AGT400s in South Korea!

Advanced Gauging Technologies has just completed the startup of two AGT400 Isotope Thickness Gauges at KSP Steel Company in Incheon, South Korea! These gauges are installed on a 20-High Rolling Mill and are being used to measure various grades and thicknesses of stainless steel.

We are excited to be working with KSP Steel to help them continuously improve their quality standards and efficiency. As one of the few non-contact isotope thickness gauge manufacturers in the U.S., it is nice to be able to help someone all the way across the globe. We will always provide the best non-contact thickness gauges available so that whatever you do, it’s measuring made easy.

John Fearing Celebrates 20 Years at Advanced Gauging Technologies!

We want to congratulate our Field Service Coordinator, John Fearing on 20 years of service here at Advanced Gauging Technologies! John has been involved with the gauging industry ever since he graduated college when he began his career at Weston Control Systems. Over the years this company was bought out and changed names several times but John never stopped working on the service side of gauging.

In the time since John began working, he has been to multiple countries such as Russia, France, and Spain to complete service and startups. Then way back in the year 2000 he was contacted by A.G.T. with an opportunity he couldn’t pass up. 20 years later and John continues to be an asset to the company and the gauging industry. We don’t know what we would do without him!

A.G.T. Completes Startup of AGT800 O-Frame for Vinyl Siding Extrusion!

Advanced Gauging Technologies has just completed the startup of a brand new AGT800 O-Frame at a company in Jackson, Michigan. This system is being used on a vinyl extrusion line and measures material thickness, material width and embossing depth.

This gauge closely monitors the vinyl siding produced to ensure each section is meeting the strict tolerances set for this material. The new AGT800 O-Frame replaced an outdated gauge to not only provide far more accurate and consistent readings but will also help to improve the efficiency of the line.
