Esmark Installs Second AGT400

Another AGT400 has been installed at Esmark Steel Group in Chicago Heights. This gauge replaced an obsolete GR200 and will be used to measure the thickness of various steel alloys on a 60” Stamco slitter. Three more AGT400 thickness gauges will be installed at Esmark during the 2016 calendar year.

Hercules Installs AGT400

An AGT400 has been installed at Hercules Industries in Denver, Colorado. This gauge replaced an obsolete GR200 and will be used to measure the thickness of various steel alloys on a 60” Stamco slitter.

Second Successful Feroleto Installation

Feroleto Steel has commissioned their second AGT800 Laser Thickness Gauge.  This gauge is located at their Weirton, West Virginia location and was installed on a 62” Loopco Slitter to measure various steel alloys with a thickness range of .008” to .250”.  Feroleto has long-term plans to replace 10 to 12 obsolete x-ray thickness gauges with AGT800 systems.

Another AGT400 Shipment to Esmark

Esmark Steel (Chicago Heights, IL) has received the second of five total AGT400 gauges ordered under our recent legacy gauge upgrade promotion.  This new gauge will be located on their No. 2 60” Stamco Slitter and is replacing an obsolete GR200.  The remaining three gauges ordered under this program will ship over the course of the next several months.

AGT400 Ships To Hercules

Another AGT400 has set sail from our Plain City warehouse. This gauge will replace an outdated GR200 and will be installed on a 60” Stamco slitter to measure the thickness of various steel alloys at Hercules in Denver, Colorado.
