A new AGT400 thickness gauge has been shipped to Midwest Tube Mills, Inc in Madison, Indiana. The gauging system will be used on their 60” Braner slitter and measure carbon steel up to .160” thick.
Two AGT400s Installed
Greenpoint Metals in Franklin, Ohio is now home to two new AGT400 isotope thickness gauges. The gauges are installed on 72” Pro-Eco and Stamco slitters and measure various steel alloys with a thickness range of .014 to .250”. They replaced obsolete Global x-ray gauges.
Another AGT400 Thickness Gauge Ships To Voss

Midwest Tube Mills, Inc. has purchased an AGT400 to be used on their 60” Braner slitter. This new thickness gauge will measure carbon steel up to .160”.
AGT400 Commissioned At Charter Steel
Charter Steel is now running their first AGT400 (replacing an obsolete Gamma Instruments GR200) on a 72” Braner Slitter. This non-contact thickness gauge measures various steel alloys up to .250”.

AGT400 Installed In University Park
A new AGT400 has been installed at Esmark Steel’s University Park (Chicago) facility. IT is an upgrade to an obsolete BSK thickness gauge located on a 72” Braner Slitter and will be used to measure various steel alloys with a maximum thickness of .250”. This is Esmark’s fifth AGT400 thickness gauge.

Charter Steel is adding an AGT400 upgrade an obsolete GR200 thickness gauge. It will measure the thickness of various steel alloys on their 72” Braner Slitter.
Heidtman Adds Eighth Gauge
An AGT400 was shipped to Heidtman Steel Products in Butler, Indiana. This isotope gauge will upgrade an obsolete GR200. The AGT400 will be installed on a temper mill and will measure steel with a thickness up to .250”. This will be Heidtman’s eighth AGT400 thickness gauge & S.P.C. reporting system.
Mill Steel Is Operating Two More AGT400s
Two additional AGT400 thickness gauges have been installed at Mill Steel’s Grand Rapids plant. Both gauges are upgrades to obsolete Weston and ESC brand thickness gauges and are on slitting lines to measure the thickness of various steel alloys.
Delaco Adds Another AGT400
An AGT400 was commissioned at Delaco Steel in Dearborn, Michigan. This isotope gauge was installed on a 72” slitting line and replaced an outdated GR200. This is Delaco’s second AGT400.
Steel Technologies Adds Another Gauge
An AGT400 was commissioned at Steel Technologies in Crawfordsville, Indiana. This isotope gauge was installed on a 72” slitting line. Steel Technologies has 30+ A.G.T. gauges at 17 different Steel Technologies locations.

An AGT400 is making its way to Dearborn, Michigan’s Delaco Steel. This isotope thickness gauge will replace an outdated GR200 and be installed on a 72” slitting line.
