Advanced Gauging Technologies has completed the startup of a new AGT800 Laser Thickness Gauge. This Gauge was installed onto a new 62″ Athader Slitting Line and will be measuring the thickness of various steel alloys.

Their AGT800 will not only provide quick, accurate, and reliable thickness readings, but will also store data locally or on a network. The data is also utilized to create printable reports with diagrams and charts. Our non-contact, high precision laser gauge ensure accurate readings and saves their company from downtime to measure and re-measure their products.

Allied Tube & Conduit’s AGT400 has now been started up. This AGT400 Isotope Thickness Gauge will be used to measure various steel alloys on their 72″ ProEco pickle line.

The AGT400 is uniquely effective with pickle lines, as they are durable and can easily handle the conditions present in pickling lines and similar applications. Not only will Allied Tube enjoy SPC reporting, full-web oscillation, and printable data collection, but they will also have the peace of mind knowing that their gauge can handle the rough environment of a pickle line. Allied Tube has smartly invested in a great solution for their application!

This installation marks another important step in CEMCO’s ongoing efforts to enhance quality control and streamline their metal processing operations. With the AGT800 now fully operational, CEMCO can benefit from real-time, non-contact thickness measurements that provide both speed and precision across their slitting line.
