Feroleto Steel Company’s facility in Knoxville, Tennessee has received its AGT800XT Laser Thickness Gauge. This gauge will be used on their Braner 64″ Slitter, and will be started up in November of 2025. It will measure various steel alloys, providing accurate measurements and printable data analysis for each coil measured.

Advanced Gauging Technologies has completed the startup of a new AGT800 Laser Thickness Gauge. This Gauge was installed onto a new 62″ Athader Slitting Line and will be measuring the thickness of various steel alloys.

Their AGT800 will not only provide quick, accurate, and reliable thickness readings, but will also store data locally or on a network. The data is also utilized to create printable reports with diagrams and charts. Allied Tube & Conduit’s AGT400 has now been started up. This AGT400 Isotope Thickness Gauge will be used to measure various steel alloys on their 72″ ProEco pickle line.
