A.G.T. Ships New AGT400 to Voss Industries!

Advanced Gauging Technologies has just shipped a brand new AGT400 Isotope Non-Contact Thickness Gauge to Voss Industries in Taylor, Michigan. This system will be installed on a 74″ slitter and will measure various steel alloys up to .277 inches.

A.G.T. Ships Steel Dynamics Three New AGT400’s!

Advanced Gauging Technologies has just shipped three new AGT400 Isotope Thickness Gauges to Steel Dynamics in Columbus, MS. These are to be used on their newest plant expansion which is set to begin operation in the coming months. These gauges will be used on a 72″ galvanizing line to measure various steel alloys from 0.010 to 0.150″.

A.G.T. has specialized in providing solutions for service centers all over the world and is now expanding those services to steel mills as well. With an increasing catalog of new products to offer, Advanced Gauging Technologies is excited to see where we can provide solutions next!

Bilstein CRS Orders a New AGT800!

Advanced Gauging Technologies has received an order for a new AGT800 at Bilstein Cold Rolled Steel in Bowling Green, Kentucky. This system will be installed on a 54″ Georg Slitter to measure carbon strip steel from 0.016 to 0.276″. This is Bilstein’s first gauge order from A.G.T. and we look forward to a continued relationship for many years to come.

A.G.T. Ships a New AGT400 to Advanced Bearing Materials!

Advanced Gauging Technologies has just shipped a new AGT400 Isotope Thickness Gauge to Advanced Bearing Materials, a Division of MIBA bearings Group, LLC in Greensburg, Indiana. This system will be installed on a 12″ rolling mill and will be used to monitor coated steel strip alloys. A.G.T. can custom build you a thickness gauge to fit your specific line to provide the most accurate non-contact thickness measurement available!

A.G.T. Ships McWane Ductile New AGT800 Pipe & Pole System!

Advanced Gauging Technologies has just shipped a new AGT800 Pipe and Pole System to McWane Ductile in Provo, Utah. This is the third system they have ordered in the last three years. McWane Ductile produces cast iron pipe and poles up to 16 feet long. This is a unique application that uses two opposing C-frames to oscillate in and out of opposite sides of the pipe or pole being inspected.

Our system will be installed adjacent to their pipe and pole line and will be used to accurately measure wall thickness. A.G.T. understands no two customers are the same, and because of that we have put a focus on being able to provide custom solutions for applications such as this.
