Heidtman Steel Orders a Brand New AGT800 from A.G.T.!

Advanced Gauging Technologies has just received an order for a brand new AGT800 from Heidtman Steel in Granite City, Illinois. This gauge will be installed on a 72″ Pickle Line and will be used to measure various types of steel alloys ranging from 0.040″ to 0.500″.

We are excited to grow our relationship with Heidtman Steel as this is their third A.G.T. Thickness Gauge at this facility and their ninth gauge within their company. Every new gauge they add to one of their facilities helps to continuously improve their quality standards and is an asset as tolerances become more stringent. A.G.T. Receives Second AGT400 Gauge Order from South Korea!

Advanced Gauging technologies has just received an order for a second AGT400 Thickness Gauge from KSP Steel Company in Incheon, South Korea. This gauge will be installed on a 20-High Rolling Mill and will be used to measure various grades and thicknesses of stainless steel.

We are excited to work with KSP Steel again and are happy to help them continuously improve their quality standards. As our footprint continues to expand outside of North America we will always provide the best non-contact thickness gauges available so whatever you do, it’s measuring made easy.

A.G.T. Completes the Startup of a New AGT800 at Bilstein CRS!

Advanced Gauging Technologies has just completed the startup of a brand new AGT800 at Bilstein Cold Rolled Steel in Bowling Green, Kentucky. This system is installed on a 54″ Georg Slitter to measure carbon strip steel from 0.016 to 0.276″. This is Bilstein’s first gauge order from A.G.T. and we are looking forward to a continued relationship for many years to come.

A.G.T. Works with OEM Line Mfg. to Ship AGT800 to PlatePlus in Granite City, Illinois!

Advanced Gauging Technologies works with many OEM line manufacturers to implement thickness gauges onto lines before they are even installed. Because we work with these manufacturers directly they are able to design their lines with the perfect location for one of our thickness gauges.

Such is the case with Plateplus Inc. in Granite City, Illinois. They commissioned a brand new 78″ Cut-To-Length line from one of our OEM line manufacturing partners and while doing so they determined it would be extremely beneficial to implement an AGT800 Laser Thickness Gauge in their line. We worked directly with the OEM to ensure that upon installation our gauge could be implemented flawlessly.

This new line will be processing HRS and HRSPO from 36″ to 78″ and with an AGT800 Thickness Gauge PlatePlus can ensure they are receiving the most accurate non-contact thickness measurement available. That’s #MeasuringMadeEasy.
