Allied Tube & Conduit Corp. has received their AGT400 Isotope Thickness Gauge. Their gauge shipped to them on April 10th, 2025. This gauge will be used on their 72″ ProEco Pickle Line to measure various steel alloys with a thickness range of 0.050″ and 0.200″.
Allied Tube & Conduit Corp.’s AGT400 includes an oscillating C-Frame to scan back and forth through the entire width of the web, further ensuring accuracy and consistency in their measurements. Upon starting the new thickness gauge up, Allied Tube will enjoy increased productivity and vastly lowered downtime on their pickle line.
On March 27, 2025, California Steel Industries received two brand-new AGT400s for their 52.5″ #2 CGL line. They’ll be measuring various steel alloys.

Steel Technologies of Portage, Indiana has completed their startup for a brand-new AGT800XT Laser Thickness Gauge. This gauge will be located on a 72″ Fagor slitting line, measuring various steel alloys.
