A.G.T. Completes the Startup of a New AGT800 at Fulton County Processing!
Advanced Gauging Technologies has just completed the startup of a new AGT800 at Fulton County Processing in Delta, Ohio. This system was installed on a 72″ Alcos slitting line to measure carbon steel from 0.049″ to 0.500″. Fulton County currently operates five A.G.T. gauges they have purchased from us. They are running three AGT400s on various slitting lines and an AGT800 on a Nelson pickle line. The addition of a second AGT800 will continue to ensure they are receiving the most accurate non-contact thickness measurement available.
A.G.T. Works with OEM Line Mfg. to Provide AGT800 to PlatePlus Inc. in Granite City, Illinois!
Advanced Gauging Technologies works with many OEM line manufacturers to implement thickness gauges onto lines before they are even installed. Because we work with these manufacturers directly they are able to design their lines with the perfect location for one of our thickness gauges.
Such is the case with Plateplus Inc. in Granite City, Illinois. They commissioned a brand new 78″ Cut-To-Length line from one of our OEM line manufacturing partners and while doing so they determined it would be extremely beneficial to implement an AGT800 Laser Thickness Gauge in their line. We worked directly with the OEM to ensure that upon installation our gauge will function flawlessly and provide important data for years to come.
This new line will be processing HRS and HSRPO from 36″ to 78″, and with an AGT800 thickness gauge Plateplus can ensure they are receiving the most accurate non-contact thickness measurement available.
A.G.T. Ships AGT800 O-Frame for Vinyl Siding Extrusion!
Advanced Gauging Technologies has just shipped a brand new AGT800 O-frame to a company in Jackson, Michigan. This system will be used on a vinyl siding extrusion line to measure material thickness, material width and embossing depth. This gauge closely monitors the vinyl siding produced to ensure each section is meeting the strict tolerances set for this material. This new AGT800 will be replacing an outdated gauge to not only provide far more accurate and consistent readings, but will also help to improve the efficiency of the line.
