Heidtman Adds Eighth Gauge

An AGT400 was shipped to Heidtman Steel Products in Butler, Indiana. This isotope gauge will upgrade an obsolete GR200. The AGT400 will be installed on a temper mill and will measure steel with a thickness up to .250”.  This will be Heidtman’s eighth AGT400 thickness gauge & S.P.C. reporting system.

Mill Steel Is Operating Two More AGT400s

Two additional AGT400 thickness gauges have been installed at Mill Steel’s Grand Rapids plant.  Both gauges are upgrades to obsolete Weston and ESC brand thickness gauges and are on slitting lines to measure the thickness of various steel alloys.

Samuel Adds Laser Gauge

Samuel, Son & Co. – Columbia, Tennessee is the home of a new AGT800 laser thickness gauge. This gauge is installed on an 84” Alcos slitter and will measure thickness of steel up to .160.” This is Samuel’s sixth A.G.T. thickness gauge.

First AGT600 Compact Laser Thickness Gauge Ships to WAVE

Advanced Gauging’s first AGT600 compact laser thickness gauge has been shipped to Worthington Armstrong Venture (WAVE) in North Las Vegas, NV.  This new portable gauge will be used to measure structural steel with a thickness range of .009” to .030” and material widths of 1.65” to 5.00”.   With its small footprint and unique “plug & play” design, the AGT600 is ideal for this application and similar lines where space for a gauge is limited.  It offers all the reporting and S.P.C. features of our full size AGT800.   Contact A.G.T. today for more information and a quote.
