Two new AGT400 Isotope Thickness Gauges have been shipped to Mill Steel Company. This gauge will be measuring various metal coatings alongside aluminized, galvanized, and galvannealed steel on a Reusch Reducing Line.
Alongside the gauge itself, Mill Steel has purchased a Remote Operator Control Station, which will allow their operator to utilize the gauge despite the distance between our electronics cabinet and the operator’s main control area. This will further increase the productivity and ease of use for the workers at Mill Steel.
The two gauges’ startup dates are still to be determined. These are Mill Steel’s third and fourth purchases of the year. We are always happy to work with Mill Steel to keep their measurements reliable and consistent.
