An AGT400 Thickness Gauge & S.P.C Reporting System has been sent to Taylor, Michigan’s Voss Industries. This system will be used on their 72” Pickle Line. The steel thickness will range from .047” to .310”.

A successful startup of an AGT400 is complete at Mill Steel in Indiana. John Fearing upgraded an obsolete BSK gauge with a modern AGT400 electronics system. This thickness gauge is featured on a 72” Pro-Eco slitter and measures steel with a range of .010” to .250”.
Voss Industries Places An AGT400 Order
Taylor, Michigan’s Voss Industries has ordered a new AGT400 for use on their 72” Pickle Line. This company provides pickling, slitting and blanking services to the flat rolled steel market. Their steel products range from .047” to .310” in thickness.
Nebraska’s Valmont Starts Up An AGT400
A successful startup of an AGT400 is complete at Valmont Industries in Nebraska. Valmont is one of the world’s leading providers of engineered products and services for infrastructure and irrigation equipment in the agriculture industry. This thickness gauge is located on a 79” Herr-Voss Slitter, measuring steel from .048” to .280” thick.
Up and Running at National Material Processing
John Fearing, our Senior Field Service Engineer, has completed an AGT400 startup which replaced an obsolete GR100 thickness gauge at National Material in East Chicago. This gauger is a perfect fit for their 72” Pro-Eco slitting line. It is the fourth AGT system for National Material.
