Advanced Gauging Technologies has completed the startup of a new AGT800 laser thickness gauge at Olympic Steel in Detroit, Michigan. The AGT800 has a custom-built hanging C-frame designed for use on a 72″ Niagra Slitter. The gauge will be used to measure aluminum with a thickness range of .015″ to .130″ and will provide Olympic Steel the ability to continually meet the strict thickness tolerances required by their customers.
