Metal Processing Corporation of Gary, Indiana has finalized the purchase of one AGT800XT Laser Thickness Gauge alongside the purchase of a brand-new Braner Slitting Line. They will be measuring various metal alloys including HRPO and Galvanized steel, between 0.018″-0.300″ thickness. Additionally, they will be using our patented Passline Angle Compensation technology to further increase quality of measurement.
This is Metal Processing Corporation’s first purchase of an AGT800XT, and is expected to be installed in early 2027. Our AGT800XT Laser Thickness Gauge will provide a simple, reliable turnkey solution for metal thickness measurement. Alongside its accurate measurements, MPC will benefit from our Offline Data Analysis software, being able to access and print any measurements taken by the operator. This will increase internal quality control and customer satisfaction. Additionally, our AGT800XT requires no additional licensure or leak testing, reducing logistical stress for our end users.
