In August of 1973, Todd was born to Lieutenant Sharmain Allen and Chief Warrant Officer Robert Allen at Fort Rucker, the Home of Army Aviation, in Alabama. With both of his parents in the United States Army, Todd grew up traveling around the world including living for a time in Iran before the fall of the Shah. Spending his formative years traveling gave him a worldly view, which has been advantageous during his lifetime.
Todd graduated from high school in 1991 and stayed in Ada to attend Ohio Northern University. He majored in Computer Science with a foreign language minor. In 1995, he took a position with a Computer Renaissance franchise as a Senior Technician, later moving up to Store Manager. In 1999, he married his wife Kendra, and moved to Columbus, Ohio to work for a major manufacturing software company. With his new company, Todd was once again able to travel the world visiting places such as Portugal, Thailand, Japan, and the Netherlands.
It was during this period of time that Todd met Scott Cook as they both shared an obsession of turning their Pontiac Bonnevilles into race cars. Todd’s 2000 Pontiac Bonneville SSEi eventually became the second fastest front wheel drive Bonneville on the planet beaten only by Scott’s. In 2004, Scott asked Todd to come work with him at his INTENSE Racing business. After several years, Scott eventually sold INTENSE and, recognizing Todd’s value as an employee, transitioned him over to Advanced Gauging Technologies.
Todd enjoys an eclectic set of hobbies. During the warmer months he spends time scuba diving or camping. In the colder months, he can be found at indoor ranges practicing his firearm skills or spelunking in a cave system. Year round he can be found in his basement building computers or manufacturing the ammunition he enjoys shooting. Wherever he travels, Todd is always on the lookout for great places to eat and takes delight in just about every cuisine.
Todd and Kendra have one son, Ethyn, and currently reside in Westerville, Ohio. They have two cats (Merkie and Shiraz) and two ferrets (Bilbo and Misty). Todd looks forward to the day when they are all gone and he can get a dog.
