Delaco Steel (Dearborn, MI), has ordered a new AGT400 to upgrade an obsolete GR200 thickness gauge. This system will be used to measure various steel alloys on a 72” Pro-Eco Slitting Line. Shipment is scheduled for early May 2017.
An AGT400 isotope thickness gauge has been installed at an automotive plant in Smyrna, Tennessee to monitor tight tolerances of steel. This gauge is located on a 1,900 mm. blanking line and will be measuring steel with a thickness range of 0.5 to 1.4 mm. Non-contact gauges are adding value and even higher quality standards to the automotive industry.

Advanced Gauging has shipped an AGT400 isotope thickness gauge to Nissan Motor Manufacturing Corporation in Tennessee. This gauge will be installed on a 1,900 mm. blanking line and measure steel with a thickness range of 0.5 to 1.4 mm. Startup and commissioning of the gauge is scheduled for later this month.
